Collections of paintings and sculptures in the house and outdoors.

The exhibits complete the design of the house and enhance the living spaces.

Humans have been told that they are collectors since their origins, but many thousands of years ago the objects of desire were more of a staple than sculptures or images. For many centuries, man tends to collect his cultural achievements and exhibit them for himself and for the environment. Thus created own rooms or areas in the churches, museums and secular buildings.

In addition to the museums and public collections that we know, there are a great many forms of collections in the world today that can be exhibited, but not necessarily. Each of us once had a collection that at the time had a high priority in our lives. These include e.g. the collections of stamps, dolls or matchbox cars.
But collections have partially accepted sizes and shapes that are worthy of exhibition and also need spaces to be valid. The collection of butterflies and beetles from the Frey family in Munich is second to none, with more than 2 million examplaries and the kitsch collection of the Aw family.

The builders and architects should pay more attention to the possibility of a stylish arrangement and arrangement of collections when planning their homes. For this purpose, no houses for collectors must be built, but wall surfaces, niches and distinctive places should be provided indoors and outdoors. Many recently built houses lack the space for their seats or exhibition space, not to be confused with dead spaces or areas that no one can see. A good natural and artificial lighting as well as the visual axes and the proper distance to the object brings the house and the exhibit into a relation, which should not be underestimated in its effect.

The creation of such areas, niches and showcases give the house a special effect and, above all, its own character. The house is upgraded for the time of your own living and gives at the moment of sale more incentives and sales arguments. In spite of the size of the house and the sea view, the resident wants personal memorabilia and objects of his choice around him. Depending on the taste and decor style, the residents have more or less many or beautiful objects around them, which they do not necessarily want to call a collection. But with beautiful niches and with closed showcases and with the desired lighting, rooms can be created which, for example, can give their meaning to the collection of clocks, pre-Columbian art, kitsch or coin collection.

Maybe one or two other people will think that they will have the courage to bring their old collection to the public's attention and not let it get dusted in the basement or in the warehouse until someday they will discover the heirs or even them "flog".

The ideal areas and areas can be in the stairwell or corridors, for example, unless they are deliberately reserved in the living rooms or dining rooms for important exhibits. The wall at the end of a corridor does not necessarily have to be the exhibition space of an image, but the illuminated sculpture in the outdoor area, which you can see through a nice big window. Around the house and in the entrance area there are enough possibilities to set up original and idiosyncratic sculptures. The path from the entrance to the house and the area from the main terrace to the swimming pool are ideally suited to create contrasts of color with the plants and the exterior lighting.
